The problem wasn't resources. It was the lack of operational ownership. We built CUSP to change that, to bring senior-level accountability directly to every engagement, not delegate it downstream."

Anas Alkatib
Founder & Principal Security Advisor | CUSP Security
Anas Alkatib is a seasoned cybersecurity executive with over 24 years in the technology industry, spanning telecommunications, enterprise IT, and information security. A practitioner at his core, every recommendation he makes is grounded in the same environments he has built, defended, and tested himself.
He spent five years at Deloitte as a Cyber Risk Advisory Manager, leading complex security transformation engagements across financial services, healthcare, and technology sectors, managing portfolios from $150K to $3M. His work brought Big 4 methodological rigor to SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS programs.
Prior to CUSP, Anas served as Corporate IT Security Manager at Hino Motors, a global automotive group, where he architected the organization's first enterprise security program from the ground up. Earlier, he held a Director of IT Security role at CCI Systems, driving seven concurrent security initiatives and earning SOC Type II certification, and was a Security Technical Specialist at IBM, deepening expertise in cloud security, threat intelligence, and enterprise advisory.
Anas holds active DoD 8570 IAT/IAM Level III compliance, the U.S. Department of Defense's highest information assurance designation, and is currently pursuing CISSP certification. His technical depth spans Zero Trust architecture, cloud security (Azure, AWS), endpoint detection, mobile threat defense, and identity & access management.
